Lucas Ramirez

Hello delegates! Welcome to PANAMUN XXXII! My name is Lucas Ramirez, I am currently a sophomore at the International School of Panama and I am honored to be a chair for the new UNCTAD committee. I was born and raised in Panama and have lived my whole life here, although my father is Colombian and my mother is Greek. My first MUN conference was PANAMUN in 9th grade. I saw this as an amazing opportunity to demonstrate and show my love for debate in a formal setting for the first time and I enjoyed it a lot. I appreciate how PANAMUN gives people a voice in things they believe in.  Outside of debate , I enjoy listening to music, playing football , and spending time with my family. I look forward to seeing you and making PANAMUN an unforgettable experience for you, see you soon delegates!

Sofia Eskildsen

Hello delegates! My name is Sofia, and I am currently a sophomore at ISP. I am honored to be your chair this year in the UNCTAD (United Nations Committee of Trade and Development) committee. I was born in New York, but I was raised in Panama, and my family is Panamanian. I’ve been in PANAMUN ever since I joined ISP, in 7th grade. My 3 years in Panamun have taught me so many new problem-solving and collaboration skills, as well as public speaking and research. This PANAMUN will be my first year as a chair, and I am looking forward to making Panamun as wonderful an experience as it has been for me. If any of you have any questions, please don't be afraid to approach me, or email me at st-1212131@isp.edu.pa. I'm looking forward to an amazing PANAMUN conference where I can get to know all of you!
