CHAIRS
Finley Steinbeck
Hello delegates! My name is Finley Steinbeck and I am currently a sophomore at the International School of Panama, and I am so excited to be your chair for PANAMUN XXXII. I was born in Los Angeles, California and I am Colombian-American. I’ve lived in Panama for almost 11 years and last year was my first PANAMUN. Since then, I’ve found a love for debate and have gone to several conferences. Debate is something I genuinely appreciate and I always have a fun time doing it. Through MUN conferences I’ve gained friendships, and not only that but confidence in my ideas and my ability to articulate them as well. I am very proud to be a chair this year and I hope to make this conference fun and engaging. I can’t wait to meet all of you and if you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Soliana Solomon
.
Hello Delegates, My name is Soliana Solomon, and I am an 11th grade student at Atlanta International School and I am more than excited to be your chair for the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) at PANAMUN XXXII! I am Ethiopian-American and I was born in Minnesota and raised in Atlanta alongside my parents and my little brother. I started my Model UN journey in 7th grade during the COVID time and since then, I have participated in eleven conferences, both as a chair and as a delegate. This year, I am the Secretary-General for the AISMUN team and have attended conferences all over the world. Model UN has been one of my greatest hobbies and experiences as it develops delegates interpersonal, leadership, and public speaking skills as well as awareness of global issues while being a fun and interactive space for delegates to blossom into diplomats. I am more than thrilled to see what you all have prepared for this conference and see you develop these skills over the course of PANAMUN XXXII and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns! Best of luck!
